Does IIT tag matters?

"IIT tags are important". 🎓
When someone makes this claim and provides evidence to support it, they nevertheless face criticism. Unfortunately, those who are criticizing this statement are unable to understand even one basic concept:
"An IIT tag means that if you have done the grind successfully once, you can do it again later in life." It’s about how the IITian atmosphere and possibilities foster each person’s unique potential.
Therefore, it is unfortunate that many narrow-minded people minimize the IIT designation in order to excuse their jealousy of IIT'ians achievements.
Yes, it is possible to succeed without attending IIT, but this does not lessen the accomplishments of those who did.
